Two Oklahoma City Men Killed in Fatal Crash in Woodward County

Oklahoma City, Okla. – Two Oklahoma City men were killed in a tragic crash on Sunday afternoon, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The incident occurred when the driver of a 2012 Kia Forte failed to yield to a Freightliner truck, resulting in a collision on NS 212, just one mile west of Mooreland, in Woodward County.

Troopers reported that the Kia Forte was traveling south on NS 212 when it collided with the eastbound semi-truck on US-41. The impact of the crash claimed the lives of the two men inside the Kia, whose identities are being withheld until their families have been notified.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the cause of the accident, but preliminary reports suggest that failure to yield may have been a contributing factor. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol urges drivers to exercise caution when approaching intersections and always adhere to traffic rules to prevent further tragedies.

At this time, no additional details have been released regarding the victims or the condition of the truck driver. The Woodward County community is mourning the loss of these individuals, and law enforcement is offering their full support to the families involved.
