According to reports, Moore, the owner of Peyton Moore Photography, was hired by multiple brides for their special days, but failed to deliver services as promised, leaving couples frustrated and without the cherished wedding photos they had paid for.
One such bride, Morgan Bradley, shared her distressing experience with News 4 in September 2024. Bradley had paid Moore a total of $700 for wedding photos, plus additional travel fees, only to be left in the lurch days before her wedding. As the date approached, Moore ceased all communication, leaving Bradley to scramble for a last-minute solution to capture her big day.
Bradley is not alone in her plight. Many other brides reported similar experiences with Moore, all claiming they were ghosted after paying substantial amounts for photography services that were never delivered. As these stories spread, more victims came forward, leading to growing public concern over Moore’s business practices.
The situation escalated when a warrant for Moore’s arrest was issued in December 2024, with another warrant following in January 2025. Both warrants were issued in Comanche County District Court on charges of obtaining cash or merchandise by bogus check or false pretenses. These charges stem from allegations that Moore took payments for services never rendered, effectively defrauding clients.
The arrest has sparked an outcry from brides who were left without recourse after Moore’s disappearance. Many of the victims have voiced their disappointment, with some stating they felt betrayed by a person they had trusted to capture one of the most important moments of their lives.
