MIDWEST CITY, Okla. — A house fire in Midwest City on Wednesday night resulted in significant damage, leaving the home a total loss. Firefighters from the Midwest City Fire Department responded to the scene in the 400 block of Harr Drive around 8:10 p.m.
Upon arrival, crews quickly worked to contain the blaze, which originated in the garage before spreading into the rest of the home. While battling the fire, firefighters were able to rescue a pet from inside the residence. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, they were unable to resuscitate the animal.
