Fatal Fight Outside Oklahoma City Concert Leads to Death

OKLAHOMA CITY OK — The Oklahoma City Police Department is investigating a deadly altercation that occurred outside the Enclave Event Center early Saturday morning, following a concert.

At approximately midnight, officers responded to a call reporting a fight near S Portland Avenue and SW 20th Street. Upon arrival, authorities discovered an unconscious, bloodied male victim who appeared to have been attacked by a group of individuals outside the venue.

Lieutenant Dustin Motley of the Oklahoma City Police Department stated, “It seems as though there were multiple people involved, but like I said, it’s early, and we have very few witnesses that stayed around on scene for us to interview.” The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The fight occurred near the conclusion of a six-hour event at the Enclave Event Center. Although police have not yet identified the individuals involved, the altercation has left the community shaken.

News 4 spoke with Ryan V., the General Manager of the Enclave Event Center, who expressed his condolences to the victim’s family. He confirmed that the incident took place toward the end of the event, a moment that took a tragic turn after what had been an otherwise peaceful gathering.

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities urging anyone with information to come forward. As of now, there have been few witnesses willing to speak with police, which may complicate efforts to fully understand the circumstances leading to the deadly incident.

As the investigation continues, Oklahoma City residents are left grappling with the aftermath of this senseless act of violence outside a public event.
