Enid, OK – The City of Enid announced that nominations are now open for the 2026 Walk of Fame, recognizing individuals who have made a lasting impact on the community.
City officials said nominations will be accepted from March 4 through May 1, 2026. Honorees will be recognized during the annual Cherokee Strip Days celebration in September.
To be eligible, nominees must demonstrate a lifetime of service to the community or have made an extraordinary contribution, act of selflessness, or statesmanship that benefited Enid.
Nomination submissions must include the nominee’s name, a biography, a photo, and the name, phone number, and mailing address of the person making the nomination.
Residents can download and complete the nomination form at Enid.org/WalkofFame. Completed forms, along with the biography and photo, must be submitted to the Office of the City Clerk by 5 p.m. on May 1, 2026.
Nominations can be mailed to the City of Enid, Attn: City Clerk – Nomination for Walk of Fame, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Municipal Complex, 401 West Owen K. Garriott Road, Enid, OK 73701.
