Police say the suspect, 43-year-old Jerry Yang, began firing shots at officers, as well as at two children who were inside the home at the time.<\/p>\n<p>The confrontation between Yang and law enforcement officers continued before the situation was eventually brought under control. Fortunately, the children were unharmed, but the exact details surrounding the victim and their relationship to the suspect remain under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>At this time, the police have not disclosed further information regarding the circumstances leading to the shooting or the condition of the victim.
