According to reports, scammers are using a spoofed phone number to impersonate sheriff\u2019s department officials and trick people into giving up personal and financial information.<\/p>\n<p>The scammers reportedly claim that individuals have missed jury duty or have an outstanding warrant for their arrest, threatening them with fines that must be paid immediately.
