Brock England, 34, was convicted on January 22, 2025, on charges involving crimes committed against a child under the age of 12 in both Oklahoma and Kansas.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"text-token-text-secondary\">The charges stemmed from an investigation launched in October 2022 by the Garfield County Sheriff&#8217;s Office after allegations of sexual misconduct were made against England, who was serving with the Wichita Police Department at the time.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"text-token-text-secondary\">According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), a thorough investigation revealed that England had committed multiple sex crimes in both states, some of which occurred while he was on duty as a law enforcement officer.<\/div>\n<div class=\"text-token-text-secondary\">In March 2023, England was arrested by the Sedgwick County Sheriff&#8217;s Office in Kansas and charged in Garfield County with sexual abuse of a child under 12 and lewd molestation.<\/div>\n<div class=\"text-token-text-secondary\">At the time of his arrest, England was off-duty and had been employed by the Wichita Police Department for seven years.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"text-token-text-secondary\">The department placed him on administrative leave as they awaited the outcomes of both the criminal and internal investigations.<\/div>\n<div class=\"text-token-text-secondary\">Court documents revealed that England had worked for the Wichita Police Department from June 2014 until August 2019, before briefly joining the Enid Police Department.<\/div>\n<div class=\"text-token-text-secondary\">He worked for Enid PD for four months before returning to the Wichita Police Department in December 2019.
