Oklahoma City, OK – Oklahoma City leaders have announced an exciting new addition to the Bricktown Canal that promises to significantly improve the water quality and overall experience for visitors. This week, crews began installing Moleaer Nanobubble Generators in the canal, marking the city’s adoption of cutting-edge nanobubble technology.<\/p>\n

The generators, five in total, will release microscopic oxygen bubbles into the canal’s water. These tiny bubbles are designed to float to the bottom of the canal, where they will work to improve water cleanliness, reduce unpleasant odors, and enhance the overall clarity of the water. The technology also serves to protect the canal\u2019s equipment by preventing the build-up of contaminants and debris.<\/p>\n

Scott Copelin, manager of natural resources for Oklahoma City Parks & Recreation, explained that the use of nanobubbles is part of the city\u2019s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve its public spaces. “With the nanobubbles, we\u2019ll be able to keep the water cleaner,” Copelin said. “We want to take good care of our public facilities, and this is a creative solution to improve the maintenance of one of Oklahoma City\u2019s most iconic attractions.”<\/p>\n

The Bricktown Canal, a popular spot for both locals and tourists, has long been a defining feature of the city’s landscape. As part of the revitalization of the Bricktown district, the canal attracts thousands of visitors each year, with its picturesque walkways, lively restaurants, and boat tours.<\/p>\n

With the installation of the nanobubble technology, city officials hope to ensure that the canal remains an inviting and visually appealing destination for years to come.
