The deceased, identified as Rachel Nalley, was discovered unresponsive by an OCDC officer conducting a routine welfare check at approximately 7:20 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"376\" data-end=\"601\">Medical staff at the detention center, along with personnel from the Oklahoma City Fire Department, quickly attempted to revive Nalley. However, their efforts were unsuccessful, and she was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"603\" data-end=\"829\">Nalley had been in custody since April 21, after being arrested for failing to appear in court on charges of engaging in prostitution and possession of a controlled substance, according to the Oklahoma County Detention Center.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"831\" data-end=\"994\">The cause of Nalley\u2019s death is under investigation. OCDC officials have not released any additional information at this time, and no foul play has been suggested.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"996\" data-end=\"1184\">The Oklahoma County Sheriff&#8217;s Office, in coordination with other agencies, will continue to examine the circumstances surrounding Nalley\u2019s death, as they work to determine the exact cause.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1186\" data-end=\"1410\">As of now, it remains unclear if Nalley\u2019s death is linked to any pre-existing medical conditions or if any other factors may have contributed.
