During the confrontation, Gibson fell and sustained a hip injury. He was subsequently hospitalized and passed away eight days later.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"906\">Police were notified of the incident on October 24, 2024, and have been investigating the circumstances surrounding Gibson\u2019s injury and death. On June 3, 2025, the OKCPD announced the Medical Examiner\u2019s ruling of homicide.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"908\" data-end=\"1069\">The case has now been forwarded to the District Attorney\u2019s Office, which will determine whether criminal charges will be filed in connection with Gibson\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1071\" data-end=\"1229\">Authorities have not released the identity of the other resident involved or any further details regarding the altercation.
